John Jamison

I taught at the Lakeside and Bush Schools in Seattle, Washington, from 1970 to 2003. My fields of primary interest were Ancient and Medieval History, Intellectual History of the Twentieth Century, and Modern Physics (relativity and quantum mechanics). I developed software for teaching physics to high school students, including the relativity program Mach Turtles and a number of Quantum Mechanics programs.

I have taught at summer institutes for secondary teachers at the Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire  and at the Technology in Teaching and Learning Institute in Melbourne, Australia.

I create my programs using NetLogo—a program which I highly recommend and which you can download for free.

I am now teaching occasional courses at Walla Walla Community College
